Day 01 Arrival in Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be met by your English-speaking guide at Beijing Capital International Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of today is on your own. (Please note that check-in time is after 12:00 p.m.)
Accommodation is at Park Plaza Beijing Science Park.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L)
The day begins with a visit to Tian’anmen Square, the political and symbolic center of modern day China.

Then visit the vast complex of courtyards and chambers within the Forbidden City, the ancient seat of imperial power, rounds off the morning.
After lunch, you will tour the Summer Palace, the beautifully preserved garden retreat of the emperors. Then visit the Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors worshiped the God of Heaven and prayed for good harvests.
Enjoy the free evening and dinner is on your own.

Day 03 Beijing (B, L)
In the morning, visit Mutianyu Great Wall, a spectacular section of the Wall that is less crowded. Enjoy the astounding views of the Wall as it winds over the surrounding hills.
Dine at the restaurant located adjacent to the Jade Carving Center, where after lunch, you may learn about the China’s long history of jade carving and shop for gifts and souvenirs.

The highlight of the Ming Tombs is the underground palace, which is 27 meters (89ft) below the ground and covers an area of 1,195 sq meters. The 13th Ming emperor Wanli and his two wives were buried here. 
Enjoy the free evening and dinner is on your own.

Day 04 Beijing to Xi’an (B)
Enjoy your free day in Beijing (Check out before 12:00pm by yourself). Take the evening flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to hotel to enjoy the free evening. Dinner is on your own.
Accommodation is at Xi’an Garden Hotel.

Day 05 Xi’an (B, L)
In the morning, you will visit the astounding Terracotta Warriors in the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qinshihuang. The warriors still stand on the original site where they were discovered by farmers in 1974. 

After lunch, you will head off to the Emperor Qingshihuang’s Mausoleum and Banpo Museum which marks a settlement dating back to the matrilineal clan commune period of the Neolithic age.
Enjoy the free evening and dinner is on your own.

 
Day 06 Xi’an to Chongqing (B, lunch on board, D)           
This morning you will visit the world renowned Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shanxi Historical Museum.
You are taking the 1-hour flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to city center and pay a quick visit to Erling Park. Enjoy your dinner before boarding the cruiser.

Day 07 Three Gorges Dam & Fengdu Ghost City (B, L, D)
Enjoy an early breakfast while watching the riverside scenery glide by. In the morning, you will disembark to visit Fengdu Ghost City. A mountainside strewn with Buddhist and Taoist temples and statues, it is said to be a gathering place for spirits on their way to the underworld.

In the evening, join the welcome banquet hosted by the captain.

Day 08 Lesser Three Gorges, Shennv Peak & Xiling Gorges (B, L, D)
In the morning, you will either relax on board or have an option to visit the ancient, ornate halls and temples of the White Emperor City. The additional cost is 240yuan per person.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to a smaller vessel for a visit to either the Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. You will return to the boat at around 15:30 p.m. and continue downstream passing by the Xiling Gorge.

In the evening, attend the farewell party hosted by the captain.

Day 09 Yichang to Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning, you will visit the Three Gorges Dam and Tanziling where you can have a panoramic view of the dam site.

You will disembark in Yichang at about 11:30 a.m. After lunch, have a stop at Binjiang Park , then transfer to the airport for flight to Shanghai.

Upon arrival at Shanghai, be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the free evening and dinner is on your own.
Accommodation is at Best Western New Century Hotel Shanghai.

Day 10 Shanghai (B, L)
This morning, you will visit Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden in the heart of Shanghai’s old city. Then visit The Bund. Elegant Neoclassical and Romanesque facades face Pudong’s gleaming 21st century skyline across the Huangpu River, with the recently rebuilt Bund promenade stretching over a dozen city blocks along the river below.

This afternoon you will visit Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Museum. Afterwards, explore Xintiandi, a stylish restaurant and shopping district designed by MIT architect Ben Wood.

Enjoy the free evening and dinner is on your own.

 
Day 11 Shanghai-Suzhou-Zhouzhuang-Shanghai (B, L)
It will be a full day coach excursion from Shanghai to Suzhou, known as Oriental Venice, Suzhou is famed for network of canals linking to the ancient Grand Canal and gardens built by wealthy merchants and nobles.
You will visit the Lingering Garden, Grand Canal and Suzhou Silk Factory, besides you will have a chance to visit Zhouzhuang Water Village on the way back.
After returning to your hotel in Shanghai, enjoy your free evening and dinner is on your own. 

Day 12 Shanghai Exit (B)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for the departure flight.
