Day 02 Guiyang/Huangguoshu/Guiyang

In the morning you will take 1.5 hours by car to reach the Tianlong Tunbu village, a very old and particular Han Chinese settlement existing in the southwest part of China. The women in this area still wear costumes with the characteristic of Ming dynasty and the houses also retain the typical Ming architectural styles. A family visit will be arranged to see their stone architecture. After strolling along the narrow path of the small village, you have the opportunity to enjoy the local opera (Ground Opera), which has a history of 600 years. After lunch you will set off to the highlight of today’s tour, Huangguoshu Waterfall, lying in Southwest of Guizhou Province,128 kilometers away from Guiyang City . With 77.8 meters high and 101.0 meters wide it is known as the biggest waterfall in Asia and the third biggest in the world. Late afternonn back to Guiyang

Day 03 Guiyang/Kaili

After breakfast you will be transferred to Kaili, the capital city of Guizhou’ssoutheast Autonomous prefecturefor the Miao and Dong People. Upon arrival, you can get a survey of the traditional culture of the minorities in Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum, Some clothes , calligraphies and pictures are displayed here. In the afternoon you will visit Qingman short-skirt Miao Village. A special welcome ceremony will be arranged. You will be greeted into the village by drinking the block-way wine. Explore the village by visiting the local families. After that you will be led to Shiqiao Miao village, another distinctive village, noted for its traditional way of making paper from the tree bark. Family visit will also be arranged here. Late afternoon transfer back to Kail for your rest.

Day 04 Kaili/Shibing/Zhenyuan

Today you will travel to Zhenyuan, en route, a visit to the Wangba Village will be arranged, where you can see one major tribe of the Miao - the Gejia people - and learn more about their unique culture and history. With Family visit you will know their traditional way of making batik. The next stop in the afternoon is Wuyang River, which is famous for its graceful mountain scenes and gently flowing water. During the cruise along the river you will wonder the beautiful scene( Secluded caves, gurgling springs, rugged rocks,etc.) on the mountains of both banks Late afternoon arrival at the ancient Zhenyuan Town, located in the eastern part of the Guizhou Province, His long history of 2000 years endues the town with many rich and rare cultural relics. You will perceice it by appreciating its architecture style.

D05 Zhenyuan/Shidong/Kaili

Today’s highlight ist to visit theBlack Dragon Cave, located on Zhonghe Mountain in the east of Zhenyuan Ancient Town. It occupies an area of 21000 square kilometers. The Black Dragon Cave Temple consists of a lot of single and multi-storied pavilions, temples, shrines, palaces and so on.,On the top of the mountain you will have a pretty view of the Zhenyuan Ancient Town. Afterwards you can take your time to stroll along the ancient walk way in Zhenyuan Town and enjoy the quiet and harmony. After lunch you will have a 3 hours’ transfer back to Kaili. En route, stop at Shidong Miao village noted as a silversmith village. The Miao people will show you their exquisite hand-made jewelry in their family. At Dinner you will taste the traditional cuisine: sour soup fish in hotpot.

Day 06 Kaili/Guiyang/Beijing

In the morning, 1 hour transfer from Kaili along the Bala River will take you to the Jidao long-skirt village. You will be deeply attracted by their traditional wooden houses and waterwheels. The warmly Miao people will make a performance and show you their traditional folks songs and dance. You can also join them to enjoy yourself. The people there still preserve the traditional village life style. Their clothes with complicated embroidery are all weaved and spinned by themselves. In the afternoon you will be taken to the airport and fly back to Beijing.
