| Yangshuo City |
The city of Yangshuo is definitely the highlight of the beauty along Lijiang River in terms of scenery and cultural spots. For Chinese standards Guilin is a very small city, but nonetheless very famous for its interesting topography and parks. Located in the northeast corner of Guangxi Province, this part of China is speckled with incredibly beautiful sedimentary spires almost everywhere you look.

| Longji Terraces |
Longji Terraces, sometimes called the Dragon's Backbone rice terraces are in Longsheng County about 2 hours’ drive from Guilin. The rice terraces are built into the hillsides and look like great chains or ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the hill. This ingenious construction makes best use of the scare arable land and water resources in the mountainous area. There are about 66 square kilometers terraced fields in southeast of Longsheng. The Terraces were first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by the Zhuang people. The rising and falling landscape of Longji Terraces gives rise to impressive slopes.

As the elite of the Guilin landscape, the Lijiang River is a bright pearl among China's beautiful mountains and rivers. Originated in Mao'er Mountain at Xing'an County, northeast of Guilin City, the Lijiang River winds its way southeast for about 437 kilometers via Guilin City, Yangshuo City to Gongcheng Estuary of Pingle County in Guangxi Province. The 84-kilometer-long segment from Guilin City to Yangshuo City resembles a green silk belt, winding among the peaks and the chains of mountains.

| Fubo Hill |
Fubo hill is on the west bank of the Li River. It is partially submerged in the river and partially above ground. It was named after a famous general called Fu bo in Han Dynasty who had ever made a battle in this area. There is another story to say that because the waves run back wherever they meet the blocks thus it gets the name. there are many scenic spots in there like Pearl-Returning Cave, One-Thousand-Buddhas Cave, Sword Testing Stone, Listening-to-the-Waves Pavilion and One-Thousand-Persons Pot and Big Iron Clock.

Seven-Star Park on the eastern bank of the Lijiang River ,only two kilometers from the city centre ,is the largest comprehensive park with the most attractive natural environment in the city of Guilin.

Located in the infall of Li River and Tao hua River, the Elephant Trunk Hill park is full of natural sceneries and cultural spots. The Elephant Trunk Hill consists of the main body of park.. There are also other attractions like the Water Moon Cave, Puxian Pagoda, Yunfeng Temple and another "shapely" cave called Elephant Eye Cave.

| Reed Flute Cave |
Described as "Art Palace of Nature", the stalagmite and stone flowers of grotesque shapes in the caves create breathtaking spectacles which are really a feast for the eyes. Half way up the Brightness Hill, Reed Flute Cave is seven kilometers northwest of the center of Guilin. There used to be a special kind of reed growing outside of the cave which was an ideal material for making flute. Inside the U-shaped Karst cave are a large number of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, and stone flowers, all glistening in colorful lights.
