In the morning, you will have a tricycle Hutong tour to explore the traditional life style of Beijing local people.

The tour includes the visit of a local family, playing with the children in a kindergarten, climbing on the Bell Tower, which was the only time counter 500 years ago and rang only at morning. Near the lake, local people do sports exercises and you are welcomed to join them. This tour will give you a deep impression of the local people’s daily life.

You will have Chinese dumpling lunch with other local dishes cooked by the housewife at a quadrangle.

After lunch, you will be driven to Da Zha Lan Old street, which has 580 years’ history. This old street was the busiest market in the past. Even now, the well-known old brands with hundred year’s history are still open, who used to serve the imperial family exclusively. Besides, countless small souvenir stores are filled with various gifts. 

And then, you will explore another culture street Liulichang, which was the gathering venue for literatis in the old time. Some shops were famous for the fidelity of copy editions of famous picture and calligraphy masterpieces. So it is the most popular place to buy the old books, maps, brushes, and paintings.
